The Costa Rica Family Rainforest & Cloud Forest Itinerary
Visit Costa Rica’s Nature and Adventure Activities Capital Manuel Antonio on the Central Pacific Coast and the world-renown Cloud Forest in the hills of Monteverde.
Recommended Activities: National Park & Wild Waterfall Hikes, Coastal Trekking Adventure, Mangrove Kayaking, Mountain Biking, Cloud Forest Hanging Bridges and Canopy Tour. And of course, plenty of beach and pool time.
Recommended Hotels: One night at Grano de Oro in San Jose (arrival). Three nights at Senda Monteverde. Five nights at Arenas del Mar Resort in Manuel Antonio.
Do not miss: Night Walk at the Aguti Cloud Forest Reserve & Nauyaca Waterfall Hike.
Best for: Multigenerational families or families with small children.

The Panama Tropical Island Family Adventure

Recommended Hotel: Isla Palenque with 8 Beachfront Casitas or a 6-bedroom private Villa Estate. The trip could be combined with a stay in Panama City or the hills of Boquete.
Do not miss: The Secret of the Islands Tour which takes you deep into the rainforest of the island where you find artifacts from indigenous cultures that inhabited the island years ago. It almost feels like an Indian Jones kind of adventure….
Best for: Families with elementary school age kids and older that want to spend quality time together.
Note: Fly to Panama City and connect on a domestic flight to David. We will pick you up there and take you to the port of Boca Chica. From there it is a 15-minute boat ride to the island.
